More beats & mixes online

Wow, it has been rough week in my neighborhood!
Thursday, a man got shot in the street, something that very rarely happens in Denmark. I accidently walked by 30 seconds later, and saw him lying in a pool of blood. Fortunately the medics arrived quickly, and he survived. And this saturday night my street got closed down once again, this time due to a young group causing riots, throwing cobblestones and lighting fires.Well, I wasn't directly involved in any of these incidents, but I was a pretty close observer. It seems to me that Copenhagen is turning quicker to violence these last months. What do you think?

Allright, but what I really wanted to tell you, is that I have thrown a couple of new mixes, a couple of old tracks and a remix online. Check 'em out at my profile. And if you can keep a secret, I can inform you that my next mixtape is done, now I just have to do some post-production and get it pressed up. Look for it, it's going to bump the party!

Yeah, what a nice summer!

Well.. I'm home again from the tour in Croatia, and what a place! Beautiful spot for the beach-bar, nice people and a saturday night crowd there was up for a hella lot of fun...! It was a pleasure to spin my records down Bura Beach.

I have been hosting a handful of free-entry underground parties, in collaboration with some different people around Copenhagen this summer. If you were at any of events (and remember the vibe), feel free to leave a comment on the blog.

(-) Starting out with the block party the 24/6, at Noerrebro with a huge fire on the parking lot. 200 people around the fire until sunrise... Dj's including Nelson (Ikscheltaschel), Mikael Palner (Auditory Designs) and Pierre & Dj Reveal.

(-) Then I hosted this years Roof-party the 15/7, at 8th floor of my dorm, RHK, absolutely incredible... We had more than 300 people on the roof during peak hours! Performance from J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks and dj's including Lo-Fi (BoomClap Bachelors), Nelson (Ikscheltaschel), and Pierre & Dj Reveal.

(-) We practiced the first Crash-event at Islands Brygge behind Silo 52 the 21/7 this summer. It was a huge success and held 150 people chilling, grilling and bathing in the sun. Per and me held the dj'ing down strong :-)

(-) Last night the 4/8, we carried out the second Crash-event at a new location, where Christianshavns Kanal meets Strandgade, just down the harbor. It was a nice party that unfortunately got closed the 3rd time the police showed up... But it was very nice to play next to the canal. Big ups to SiQ & Casper for helping out with everything practical.

Hope you had a nice summer too?

Best regards,
R*
